Arrive in Perth (Boorloo), Western Australia’s relaxed riverside capital. Collect your rental car at the airport and make your way to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city – perhaps visit Kings Park for panoramic views over the Swan River, stroll through Elizabeth Quay or enjoy dinner in one of Perth’s vibrant dining precincts.

Today enjoy a ferry and Hop-On Hop-Off bus experience to Rottnest Island. Located just off the coast from Perth, the island is famous for its crystal-clear bays, white sand beaches and friendly quokkas. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus allows you to explore at your own pace, stopping at scenic beaches, historic sites and spectacular coastal lookouts.

Begin your Coral Coast adventure travelling north from Perth to the seaside town of Lancelin. Here you’ll take part in an exciting 4WD adventure across the impressive Lancelin Sand Dunes, including the chance to try sandboarding on the towering white dunes. Afterwards, continue your journey along the coast to Geraldton for an overnight stay.

Today travel further north to Exmouth, the gateway to Ningaloo Reef (Nyinggulu), a UNESCO World Heritage-listed marine park famous for its vibrant coral reefs and incredible marine life. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal setting.

Paddle along the pristine coastline before snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters of Ningaloo Marine Park. Depart Exmouth and begin your journey south, travelling back along the Coral Coast to Carnarvon where you will spend the night.

Continue south towards Kalbarri, stopping en route at the famous Hutt Lagoon (Pink Lake) near Port Gregory. The lagoon is known for its striking pink hues which change throughout the day depending on the light and season. After taking in the views and capturing a few photos, continue to the coastal town of Kalbarri for an overnight stay.

Today travel back to Perth, completing your Coral Coast road trip. On arrival enjoy your final evening in the city, perhaps exploring Perth’s restaurants, bars or waterfront precincts.
